Product Marketing Manager

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Director of Product Marketing with executing go-to-market strategies by owning standard product release tasks
  • End-to-end management (creation, execution & reporting) of campaigns that span multiple communication vehicles in order to drive awareness & consideration for new products, as well as drive product adoption among existing customers
  • Meet with individual Product Managers to uncover & understand the details of a product release, and translate that information into internal training content for the rest of the organization (e.g. FAQ’s)
  • Distill complex, often technical, topics into cohesive & concise communication that engages a non-technical, business audience
  • Review, revise & edit technical documentation created by the Support/Ad Ops & Product Management teams to ensure grammatical accuracy, alignment with overall corporate positioning and terminology, & structure from the intended reader’s point of view
  • Collaborate with PR, corporate marketing, & events teams on product launches & partner integration activities to drive awareness and demand
  • Develop and update content for marketing & sales collateral to support new product releases & partnerships (e.g. videos, infographics, slides, datasheets, website)
  • Maintain a competitive intelligence repository for the Sales team
  • Stay on top of industry trends by attending webinars, monitoring competitor and partner activity, & reading industry trades regularly

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum of 3-5 years in a SaaS-based company – marketing or advertising technology experience strongly preferred
  • Acute attention to detail
  • Inherently inquisitive nature with a drive to investigate and understand complex topics by gathering information across multiple sources
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to work cross-functionally across Sales, Client Services, Marketing, Business Development, & Product Management teams
  • Exceptional project management skills & the ability to execute across multiple assignments
  • Strong analytical mindset with an ability to take data from a wide variety of sources to produce insights & inform future action
  • Motivated self-starter with ability/confidence to work independently & as part of a team
  • Skillful proofreader, ensuring content is accurate & adheres to style/brand standards
