HR Business Partner

Visual IQ, a leading marketing intelligence provider, analyzes consumer behavior across channels and devices to help brands optimize marketing and advertising performance by audience segment.  Our mission is to build the most scientifically rigorous and accurate, yet intuitive and user-friendly cross channel marketing intelligence software products available anywhere, but to also provide the industry's highest level of account management to ensure that our clients achieve their business goals.  Visual IQ has an opening for a full-time Human Resource Business Partner (HRBP) to assist the Associate Director as a fully integrated member responsible for aligning business objectives and deliver value-added service to management and employees.  The successful HRBP acts as an employee champion and change agent, maintaining an effective level of business literacy about the business unit's financial position, culture and competition.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Meets regularly with departmental leaders within the facility to enhance communication and to support ongoing business needs. Consults with management, providing HR guidance when appropriate.
  • Analyzes trends and metrics in partnership with the HR group to develop solutions, programs and policies.
  • Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
  • Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to management (coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).
  • Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough and objective investigations.
  • Identifies training/development needs for business units, individual departments and individual executive coaching needs.
  • Participates in evaluation and monitoring of training programs to ensure success. Follows up to ensure training objectives are met.
  • Provides guidance and input on development, workforce planning and succession planning.
  • Participates in significant Human Resources initiatives. Maintain collaborative team relationships with peers and colleagues.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Minimum of 8 years’ progressive HR experience.
  • Proven experience in a growth phase software/technology company.
  • Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, employee relations, diversity, and performance management.
  • Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office tools.
  • Understanding of International human resources strongly preferred.
